Lance Glock, a California native has had a heart for helping the less fortunate for many years, starting with the Covina Rotarians and  becoming involved in fundraising for the east San Gabriel Chapter of the Red Cross. He assisted his father with establishing what is now known as "The Steve Yeager Red Cross Charity Golf tournament," and is an avid supporter of many charity golf fundraiser events. Lance has been sober for 23 years and has been involved with Alcoholics Anonymous since  1983.  He served on the Board of Directors of the San Gabriel Valley Alano Club for 5 yrs and sponsored several members of the club which he finds very rewarding. Having graduated from Crossroads Sober living which was the house his wife's father started, he has come full circle by  opening  "The Johnson Sober Living House Inc. with his wife Sandee. He has truly turned his life around and believes it is all due to his sober living experience. Lance believes a Sober Living community is an integral part of the process of recovery, and that sober living helped him to become a better person, teaching him compassion and concern for the well being of others. He says sober living houses offer viable, tangible solutions for homelessness, starvation, employment, and an opportunity to learn to care for the well being of others.

Sandee Repp, is a native Californian whose parents Ted and Dorothy Johnson, along with a few other men started the original Crossroads Men's Sober Living House in the late sixties in Covina California. Sandee recalls helping her parents painting and cleaning the house, getting it ready for the men to arrive. Sundays they had traditional Sunday dinners for the men as well as cooked all the holiday meals. Sandee has 3 sons from a previous marriage who were all raised in Christian schools.  Starting these sober living homes is very special project to her which she does in memory of her parents who have both passed. Sandee understands the disease as her dad was a recovering alcoholic and opening these homes is her and Lance’s way of remembering both of them.  A personal tragedy has motivated Sandee to contribute and help raise funds  for the American Heart Association every year.  Sandee’s goal at this time in her life is to make a difference the way her parents did, and give back to the community. She wants to get her sons involved in helping with the sober living houses and also learn the value if giving back to the community.  Sandee knows when she is gone they will keep this legacy going for all involved and will help countless people for years to come.
