SUPPORT

Long term sobriety for our residents is our goal. Research shows that participation in a 12 Step program is essential in this process. The Johnson Sober Living House supports the 12 Step process and provides the foundation for our residents to acquire the skills to maintain recovery. 

The facility is designed for residents in early recovery from drug and / or alcohol addiction who would benefit from added structure and support after completing a treatment program.

THE ALTERNATIVE

We at the Johnson Sober Living House believe in treatment as  opposed to incarceration, and long -term support for the addict & alcoholic. We offer court liaison services,  and are familiar with parole, probation  and court procedures. 

STRUCTURE

Residents are tested periodically to ensure compliance with the house rules. They are required to have a sponsor and be committed to a 12 step program. Our residents are required to find gainful employment or commit to community service.

RESIDENTS

We are a co-ed facility and our residents are all ages and  from all walks of life. Some are referred by the courts, probation or parole departments or simply chose to chose to seek sobriety. 

OUR HOUSE

Affordable housing in a quiet residential neighborhood, with hardwood floors, and comfortable living room with fireplace.  Our residents do their own cooking, and for those newly sober and unemployed we will provide food from the house food bank for a limited time.
